Scratch cards can be sold in bulk to shops and other re-sellers for resale. Users purchase cards from shops and scratch off the latex to reveal the number. They can then make a phone call to order a ringtone - they just quote the number as proof of payment. |

Scratch cards are cheap to produce in large volumes - typically US 15¢ for quantities of 1 million cards. |
