To sumarise: Keep the notes between C4 and B7 (440Hz and 3.52kHz). Remember that Motorola phones can't play notes shorter than a quaver 1/8. Ericsson phones are a challenge because you can't control the beats per minute - its about 180 bpm. This is all pretty primitive stuff and you need to use an MMS polyphonic phone to play "real" music. The following table provides some guidance.
